Lions Clubs International (2026-2028)
Andreja Stojkovski from Skopje, North Macedonia, was elected to serve a two-year term as an international director of Lions Clubs International at the association's 108th international convention in Hong Kong in July 2026.
A Lions Journey of Purpose
Andreja Stojkovski began his Lions journey in 1999 as Charter President of the first-ever Leo Club in North Macedonia. Inspired by the spirit of service, he is currently a proud member of Lions Club Skopje MATKA. As District Governor (2012-2013), he initiated the ground-breaking USAID-LCIF partnership supporting literacy and visually impaired children. Andreja strongly believes that membership and fellowship are best enjoyed when shared. Forward-looking, with a profound dedication to leadership development, Andreja is passionate about meaningful service that touches people's hearts. Following seven years as GLT District Coordinator, he currently chairs the Long-Range Planning Committee for District 132—shaping its strategic vision and growth.
Building a Community, Shaping the Future
- Certified Lions Instructor (LCIP) since June 2017, he serves as Faculty at Lions International Institutes since 2015, and contributed to 6 DGE Seminars since 2016.
- Served as GAT Ambassador for Area 4F and Membership Specialist for Area 4J (Spain & Portugal) for two Lions years 2023–2025.
- Member of the Special Task Force of the Long-Range Planning Committee Europe (LRPCE), and Secretary and Archivist of Lions Academy Europe.
- Andreja played a key role in launching the Young Lions Task Force Europe, an initiative focused on empowering young Lions and promoting intergenerational leadership.

- Organiser of seven new Lions Clubs and holder of the Grand Master Membership Key for sustained membership growth.

Bridging Policy and Purpose
Andreja brings expertise in International Organizations, Environmental Law, Public Policy, and Civic Engagement.
He currently works as Executive Director at the PRESPA Institute, a think tank focused on Foreign & Security Policy and European Affairs. His career includes roles such as Deputy Chief Negotiator for EU Accession, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, and Special Representative for Civil Society to the OSCE Chairman-in-Office. Andreja speaks Macedonian, his mother tongue, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and several Southeast European languages. He applies his linguistic and cultural fluency—together with a broad set of analytical and international skills—to contribute meaningfully in representing Lions Clubs International at European and global levels.
Life Beyond Service
- Married to Lion Zhivka Kostovska-Stojkovska, Intellectual Property Attorney.
- Proud father to Leo Aleksej, an eighth-grade student.
- Passionate about cycling and archery.
